๐ Method A: Individual Lessons (Fast via Camera)
Ideal for quickly preparing new vocabulary during the week for the next homework or test.
๐ธ Step 1: Copy Text from the Book (OCR)
Use your smartphone's camera to capture the text:
- Android: Open Google Lens, select "Text", photograph the page, and click "Copy text".
- iPhone: Point the camera at the page and use the Live Text icon at the bottom right to select and copy the text.
๐ค Step 2: Let the AI Clean Up
Use our specialized prompt generator. Simply enter your copied text and the lesson name there, and you'll receive a ready-to-use command for the AI:
๐ Method B: The Entire Book at Once
Many publishers offer vocabulary lists (e.g., for other languages of origin) as free PDF downloads. Here's how to convert a complete book:
Download the PDF vocabulary list and convert it to an Excel file (.xlsx) using an online tool (e.g., IlovePDF).
Copy the contents of all spreadsheets into a single sheet, one below the other.
Delete unnecessary columns. You need exactly these four column names: vocabulary_group, term_learning_language, term_user_language, and learning_status.
Details can be found in the Excel Guide.
Fill the learning_status column completely with the number 1.
Save as CSV and use the converter.
๐ง Final: Convert into File
Use our converter to prepare your data for import into the app:
